Part II

South Atlanta Class of 2024 High School Basketball Prospects are definitely an exciting group to watch out for.  With their incredible athleticism, skill, and dedication to the game, they have the potential to become the future stars of the sport.  It’s alway intriguing to see how these young players develop and grow and to see the impact they will have on the basketball world in the years to come.  Keep an eye out for these rising stars, as they are sure to make waves in the basketball scene.

Name: Mehki Turner

Height & Position:  6’7 Hybrid Forward

High School:  Maynard Jackson High School

Summary:  This 6’7 Kennasaw State comimit is a player who possesses a unique combination of skills and attributes that makes him a versatile asset to his team. With his height and physicality, he is well-equipped to play both inside the paint and on the perimeter. Offensively, he can use his size and strength to dominate in the post and finish at the rim, while also possessing the ability to shoot from mid-range and beyond the arc. His versatility allows him to create mismatches and exploit weaknesses in the opposing team’s defense. Defensively, his size and athleticism enable him to guard multiple positions effectively, providing flexibility and adaptability on that end of the court. Mehki brings a diverse skill set, making them a valuable asset to any team in terms of scoring, rebounding, and defensive presence.

 

Name:  Jason Isaac

Height & Position:  6’4 Small Forward

High School:  Union Grove High School

Summary:  This 6’4 small forward brings a unique set of skills. Offensively, his height gives him an advantage in shooting over shorter defenders and driving to the basket. He can also use their size to post up smaller opponents, creating scoring opportunities for himself and his team. Defensively, Jason can use his size to contest shots and disrupt passing lanes, making it difficult for opponents to score. His athleticism and agility enable him to guard multiple positions on the court, rebounding, and scoring second-chance points.

Name:  RJ Kennedy

Height & Position:  6’2 Point Guard

High School:  Middle Georgia Prep

Summary:  This 6’2 forward brings a unique skill set to the basketball court. While he may not have the same size advantage as a taller player, his speed and agility make him a difficult matchup for opponents. RJ excels in driving to the basket and using his quickness to create scoring opportunities. His ability to handle the ball and make precise passes also allows him to be a playmaker for his team.  His stature gives him an advantage on the defensive end, as he is often quicker and more agile than his opponents. RJ brings a combination of speed, agility, and versatility.

 

Name:  Chris Morris

Height & Position: 6’4 Wing

High School:  Eagles Landing High School

Summary:  This 6’4 wing is a valuable asset to any basketball team. His height allows him to provide a strong presence both offensively and defensively. On offense, Chris can use his height advantage to shoot over smaller defenders and finish at the rim with authority.  Defensively, he can use his size to contest shots and disrupt passing lanes, making it difficult for opponents to score. His athleticism and agility allow him to guard multiple positions on the court, making him a versatile defender. His combination of size, athleticism, scoring second chance shots, and defensive skills makes him a valuable player on any team.

Name:  Jacob Feagin

Height & Position:  6’8 Forward

High School:  Middle Georgia Prep

Summary:  This 6’8 forward is a dynamic player who brings size, athleticism, and versatility to his team. With his height, he has an advantage in rebounding and can be a dominant presence in the paint. He also possesses the ability to stretch the floor with his shooting range, making him a threat from mid-range and beyond the arc. Jacob’s size and agility allows him to defend multiple positions effectively, making him an asset on the defensive end as well.

Name:  Keenan Gray

Height & Position:  6’3 Combo Gard

High School:  Mcdonugh High School

Summary: In terms of offensive skills,  this 6’3 power guard possesses a versatile scoring arsenal. Gray can attack the basket with aggressive drives, finish with finesse around & above the rim, and also knock down mid-range jumpers. Gray’s ability to shoot from distance adds another dimension to his game which stretches the defense to create spacing for passing lanes to find teammates. A very strong ball-handler that’s capable of creating their own shot or setting up teammates with crisp passes. Recent offers: Chatt Valley Community College.
